Saw Operator / Warehouse Order Selector

We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator. You will operate warehouse equipment such as a Wet Saw and Forklift.

The perfect candidate must always be on time, dependable, and able to work long hours on their feet. They must be strong and able to “pick up” on small details. We also expect you to be “picky” when ensuring the quality of orders. We are looking for a team player willing to work in all warehouse areas: Receiving, Shipping, or Quality Control.

Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming pick tickets

Locate products using technology (RF scanner gun)

Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc., ensuring accuracy

Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks

Wrap orders before loading on trucks

Re-stock inventory with warehouse equipment

Process completed orders – label finished material.

Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions

Follow health & safety policies and quality standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position

Experience using a Wet Saw

Experience or license in handling sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment

Experience using RF devices

Ability to accurately measure products using a tape measure

Able to read and write in English

Great attention to detail

Hardworking and punctual

Good physical strength and stamina – Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
