The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in providing clerical and operational support to the Community Justice Support Center. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about supporting justice-involved individuals.
What You Will be Doing to Make a Difference...
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain and organize confidential records, client files, and program documentation.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and program activities.
- Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed.
- Support program staff with data entry, tracking client participation, and generating reports.
- Coordinate office supply inventory and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with program policies, regulations, and confidentiality standards.
- Provide administrative support for community outreach efforts and events.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: (Education and Experience)
- Minimum one year office administrative support experience is preferred
- Some college or professional training preferred
- Excellent organizational skills (verbal and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure
- Exceptional customer service skills, including professional and pleasant telephone skills
- Must be skilled in the use of software programs such as MS Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment
