The MA Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR) is the statewide voice of recovery and ensures that recovery services are valued and available to everyone throughout the Commonwealth. We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and committed Assistant Program Director with a deep commitment and working knowledge of the recovery community.

The MOAR Assistant Program Director is responsible for the training, supervision, and mentorship of the Regional Coordinators. The Assistant Program Director will be responsible for implementing MOAR’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategic initiatives and will provide a high level of diversity, equity and inclusion supports and trainings to all MOAR staff.

What You Will Be Doing To Make a Difference in the Lives of Others in Recovery...
Management
· Create and maintain the New Hire Onboarding video and training
· Conduct regular supervision with Regional Coordinators
· Ensure submission of weekly reports and tracking for data collection
· Provide regional support and coverage, as needed
· Responsible for managing a centralized calendar for Regional Coordinators and MOAR programs
Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
· Establish strategic plan with goals with current DEI team
· Organize, oversee and be responsible for ensuring monthly roundtable discussions take place, facilitate as needed
· Manage and promote monthly Speaker Series
· Provide support and resources to staff and assist with developing external trainings
· Lead DEI related initiatives
Reporting
· Collect and compile data for reporting requirements
· Submit quarterly reports to DPH
· Monitor compliance with contract requirements
Events
· Ensure that all MOAR events are operationalized
· Provide administrative, fiscal, and direct support to all MOAR functions
Advocacy
· Collaborate on initiatives that focus on addressing stigma and bias (
· Assist in developing a calendar of advocacy opportunities and events
Education (SOAR)
· Responsible for coordinating the Speaking Out for Addiction Recovery (SOAR) program, a statewide network of Recovery Centered Organizations (RCOs) and peer recovery support centers (PRSCs)
· Overseeing and co-facilitating the quarterly regional meetings to create a cohesive message across the state, filling in as needed
· Project management of the annual bootcamp and summit
· Facilitating various peer support groups

Requirements
Qualifications
- Lived Experience in Sustained Recovery required
- Minimum of 2 years Supervisory Experience
- Experience with Project Management and Operations
- Familiarity with Program Implementation Processes
- Knowledge of data collection, analysis, tracking, and outcomes
- Strong technology skills
- Ability to make collaborative decisions
- Training in business management, spreadsheets, and budgeting
