Bay State Community Services (BSCS) is currently accepting applications for the CARES Paid Fellowship. A limited number of training seats are available.
This year-long fellowship provides trainees an intensive and immersive experience in working with youth between the ages of 12-20.
Training Curriculum - Trainees will participate in a weekly didactic seminar including but not limited to:
Schedule: Trainees will have one full day of focused training and 4 additional days of on-site experience.

- Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Developmental milestones
- DSM 5 Diagnosis
- Behavioral Management
- Child Serving Systems
- Trauma and Best Practice Trauma Treatment
- Medication Administration Program (Certification)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (Certification)
- Immersive experience with youth
- Face to face clinical hours
Schedule: Trainees will have one full day of focused training and 4 additional days of on-site experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services related field such as Social Work and Psychology required
- Ability to make a one-year training commitment
- Must be willing to start after September 1, 2025
- Accept assignment and schedules at sites (includes evenings and weekends)
