Job Title : ECAD Engineer – GeoXO Program
Location : Highlands Ranch, CO (In-person support required 4 days / week)
Job Summary :
Bay Systems Consulting, is seeking an ECAD Engineer to provide Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and documentation support for the NOAA Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite program through Critical Design Review (CDR) . This role requires expertise in Zuken CR-8000 and DownStream BluePrint , along with strong documentation and design verification skills.
The selected candidate will work on-site in Highlands Ranch, CO, four days a week , collaborating with the GeoXO ECAD team.
Key Responsibilities : Task 1.1 : ECAD Design – FBA
- Support PCB design and documentation using Zuken CR-8000 and DownStream BluePrint .
- Generate and release artwork files for PCB design.
- Create and release schematics, PCB fabrication drawings, and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) documentation .
- Verify that internal check processes are run and ensure issues are resolved before submission to the internal producibility verification process .
- Schedule and lead design reviews to assess PCB development progress.
- Document and close FBA circuit board design action items using OneNote design notebook .
- Provide weekly status updates in the SharePoint status log .

The Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite program , developed by NOAA and NASA , is a next-generation initiative to enhance Earth observation capabilities from geostationary orbit. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor for spacecraft development, supporting advancements in weather forecasting, environmental monitoring, and climate research .
