What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Planning Support position at Bay Systems Consulting Inc.?
TASK 1:1: (IPT'S - Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power, SEIT, Harness, COMM, Avionics, EGSE/MGSE): The Contractor shall support the developement / creation of detailed engineeerig release plans / supplemental schedules using Microsoft Project Server. These schedules will plan and track each engineering product that is released by the program. Contractor will create "what if" and risk mitigation models within the schedules as required.
TASK 1:2: (IPT'S - Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power, SEIT, Harness, COMM, Avionics, EGSE/MGSE) The Contractor shall support the daily, weekly, montly process of keeping the schedule maintained from from a date, % Complete and % Work Complete standpoint. The Contractor shall also use DCMA best practices when developing schedules and maintian their schedules within DCMA compliance.
Task 1:3 (IPT'S - Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power, SEIT, Harness, COMM, Avionics, EGSE/MGSE): The Contractor shall support the daily, weekly, monthly schedule status meetings with the IPT leads, engineers and CAMs.
Task 1:4 (IPT'S - Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power, SEIT, Harness, COMM, Avionics, EGSE/MGSE): The Contractor shall work with the downstream consumer of engineering products, and communicate changes to the engineering schedule on a regular basis starting at the front end with the Advanced Product Structure Process (APS) through and throughout the PDR and CDR life cycle of the program via the Demand Management Process (as implemented by the program).
TASK 1:5: (IPT'S - Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power, SEIT, Harness, COMM, Avionics, EGSE/MGSE): The Contractor shall support Program Planning by supporting schedule merge meetings between Engineering Planning and Program Planning, ensuring vertical traceability to the IMS, and supporting the IPT,CAMS and Program Planning with Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) support.
TASK 1:6: (IPT'S - Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power, SEIT, Harness, COMM, Avionics, EGSE/MGSE): The Contractor shall support engineering and the program by producing the engineering health metrics (engineering burndowns, late starts, late finishes, forecast accuracy etc) via the SWORD dashboard on a weekly basis.
Salary : $82,000 - $128,000
