About the Orion Program

Position Overview
We are seeking a Test Engineer to support software unit testing efforts for the Orion Program . The selected candidate will work closely with Lockheed Martin technical leads to ensure that critical software components meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform software unit testing as directed by the Lockheed Martin technical POC (Point of Contact) .
- Develop, execute, and document unit test plans and test cases .
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings, anomalies, and performance metrics .
- Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to identify and resolve defects.
- Ensure compliance with software verification and validation standards.
- Utilize industry-standard testing tools and automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Support test reviews, peer reviews, and formal verification activities .
