Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Golf enthusiast to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their golfing needs. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment, handling transactions, and ensuring that our products are well-stocked and presented.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing inventory.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management.
Requirements
- Previous experience with cash registers or POS systems is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling and customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
- A proactive approach to maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.
