Duties and Responsiblities Include:
Under the general direction of the School Age Child Care Coordinator and the Kids’ Zone Site Manager, the Assistant Site Manager will maintain a safe and engaging learning environment for PK-5 students in a before and after-school care setting. The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for assisting the Site Manager with planning and implementing high-quality childcare services, as well as, planning and implementing enrichment and educational activities catered to the interest and needs of PK - 5 students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with strong communication, conflict resolution, organizational, collaboration, and youth programming skills.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience supervising staff, experience working with and programming for children, and ability to work split shifts.
Work Schedule:
The work schedule is determined by the School Age Child Care Coordinator, along with the Community Education and Site Manager. All hours are scheduled to meet the needs of the Kids’ Zone hours of operation.
Compensation:
Up to 28 hours/week. Between $17.45 and $20.18 per hour.
