Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Bus tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean dining environment for incoming patrons.
- Help set up and break down banquet or catering events as required.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with various tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is a plus, including food handling, preparation, and bussing duties.
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is advantageous for those looking to grow within the hospitality industry.
