What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autism Care Specialist position at BAYADA Home Health Care?
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Oahu Behavior Analysis Team.
RBTs work with individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality.
Our team provides care in our center/clinic, in the home, and/or in the community. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Working directly with clients and following established treatment plans
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, families, and pre-school staff
- Implementing behavior therapy techniques
- Documenting interventions and progress towards goals
- Collecting behavior data as specified in client behavior plans
- Providing training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals
