Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to develop comprehensive plans of care for maximum functional independence.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services.
- Educate clients, family members, and caregivers on treatment plans to achieve client-centered goals.
- Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning using electronic medical records (EMR) platforms.
Qualifications
- NJ Occupational Therapist license is required.
- Prior home care experience is preferred but not necessary.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist is desired.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and AOTA is essential.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively is crucial.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with EMRs is preferred.
