Job Responsibilities
As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to every client. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current Physical Therapist license in the state
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist
- Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required
