BAYADA Home Care is currently seeking compassionate caregivers for individuals with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities. These caregivers embody both empathy and respect in every interaction, striving to uplift and empower the people they support.
We provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community. Our team members are committed to investing in and nurturing their desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.
The ideal candidate will have relatable experience, such as caring for a family member, direct support professional, habilitation technician, personal care aide, paraprofessional, registered behavior technician (RBT), or nurses aide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend time on clients favorite hobbies and activities.
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
- Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.
- Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.
- Provide personal care assistance as needed.

Qualifications:
- One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent
