About the Job Opportunity
- This is a part-time or per diem opportunity to work as a skilled Physical Therapist, providing home health care services in Washington County.
- You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care to adult and geriatric clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of client mobility and function to develop effective care plans.
- Providing manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions to promote client independence.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to revise care plans and ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Educating clients and family members on safe and independent living strategies.
We seek a qualified Physical Therapist who possesses:
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
