About the Job
We're seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include evaluating patients' functional status, assessing cognitive, psychological and motor aspects of performance, and developing individualized intervention plans.
You'll make home visits to clients, perform thorough evaluations, assess the home environment for hazards or barriers to more independent living, identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations, and continually assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan.
What You'll Do
- See clients through their care needs, from hospital discharge to living a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity.
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
