Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Emigsville, Pennsylvania. As a member of our home health care team, you will work closely with patients in their homes, providing personalized physical therapy services to help them achieve optimal health and independence.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to assess patients' mobility, strength, and balance.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
- Continually assess and revise patients' care plans, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current PA Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Solid computer skills, preferably with experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
