About the Role
This full-time position involves performing home visits for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. As a skilled Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality therapy services to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving quality of life
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve desired outcomes
- Accurately document patient information, progress, and service delivery using electronic medical records
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NJ
- A certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
