Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with licensed physical therapists to help clients achieve optimal physical well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients in their homes.
- Assist patients in achieving optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed physical therapist.
- Provide one-on-one care, promoting independence and safety while maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification in the state of NJ.
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified physical therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
