Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Speech Language Pathologist at BAYADA, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
- Developing and implementing treatment plans based on evaluation results, physician orders, and client goals
- Continuously assessing and revising treatment plans as necessary, collaborating with other BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan
- Educating and instructing patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities promoting client health, safety, and independent living
You must possess:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NJ
- A certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements and work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
