BAYADA Home Health Care is a leading provider of home health care services. We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities throughout Lincolnton.
The ideal candidate will have a current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NC, possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or meet equivalent educational requirements with relevant work experience. A strong background in electronic medical records (EMR) and solid computer skills are also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Continuously assess and revise patient care plans, collaborating with BAYADA clinicians in multidisciplinary care planning.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities promoting healthy living.
Qualifications:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NC.
