BAYADA Home Health Care seeks a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Atlantic County.
About the Job
- This is a full-time opportunity with ongoing assignments, providing clients with rehabilitation care and skilled nursing services.
- Prior home care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is a plus but not required.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will make home visits to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
You will develop a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physician's orders, and recommended goals. Continuously assessing and revising the care plan, you will participate with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan as necessary.
Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities promoting health, safety, and independent living.
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to patient care management and services provided using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
