Job Description
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a per diem / prn Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a per diem / prn job in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in territories throughout Chesapeake, VA to Virginia Beach.
- Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, client education, and interventions delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with our licensed Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification in the state of VA.
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or two years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted by the U.S. Public Health Service.
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
