About the Job
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a current North Carolina Physical Therapist license, graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess client needs and develop individualized care plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate client mobility, strength, and balance
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote wound repair and prevent wound formation
- Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living
