**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at BAYADA Home Health Care in Grantham, Pennsylvania.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes. Your goal will be to assist clients in achieving optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being
- Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
