Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. As a PTA, you will work with adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis, providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being through evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- CURRENT LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION IN THE STATE OF NJ
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
