Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team in providing home health care services to adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities throughout Woodbridge, VA. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting patient recovery and independence.
About the Position
In this role, you will perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. You will also develop treatment plans based on evaluation results, physician's orders, and recommended goals, continually assessing and revising the speech therapy care plan as needed.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them about rehabilitation processes and promote healthy lifestyles.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in VA, as well as a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
