About the Role
At BAYADA Home Health Care, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in their homes.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Maintain accurate records of observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Qualifications
- A current New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
