Job Description
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a Full-time opportunity performing Outpatient home health visits in Wellsville, Pennsylvania.
This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in homes throughout York County.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to develop plans of care for maximum functional independence
- Operate at top licensure utilizing current research-based approaches to care
- Work closely with therapy partners to transition care from home health to outpatient services
- Educate clients, family, and caregivers on care plans to achieve team approach
Qualifications:
- Current PA Occupational Therapist license
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
