Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional status and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Makes home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
To be successful in this role, you will need a current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license, prior home care experience, and a minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist. Strong computer skills, particularly in electronic medical records (EMR), are also preferred.
