Job Summary
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Salisbury, Massachusetts. As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you will provide personalized care to adult and geriatric clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform home visits to assess client needs and develop individualized care plans
- Conduct diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility, range of motion, strength, and balance assessments
- Develop and implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote client independence and safety
- Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for optimal health and well-being
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using state-of-the-art touch pad tablets
Requirements
- CURRENT NEW HAMPSHIRE PHYSICAL THERAPIST LICENSE REQUIRED
- MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST
- GRADUATION FROM A PROGRAM APPROVED BY THE AMERICAN PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION OR THE COMMITTEE ON ALLIED HEALTH EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATION OF THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND MANAGE TIME EFFECTIVELY
- STRONG INTERPERSONAL, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
- SOLID COMPUTER SKILLS; PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS (EMR) PREFERRED
