As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Physical Therapist, you will use your clinical skills and compassionate heart to treat patients where they want to be the most – in the comfort of their own home.
You will see a client through their care needs – from hospital discharge to living a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Developing and implementing appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Continually assessing and revising the Physical Therapy - PT care plan, and participating with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- An active and current license to practice as a professional Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of PA.
- Previous home healthcare experience is welcomed, but not required. We will train you.
