Job Description
As a Home Health Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team that provides high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting home visits to assess patients' physical therapy needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and balance.
- Providing manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote patients' recovery.
- Collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Documenting patients' progress and communicating with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- A current NJ Physical Therapist license.
- At least one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills, preferably with electronic medical records (EMR) experience.
