Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving overall health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to assess clients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to identify areas of improvement.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, such as manual therapeutic exercises and gait training.
- Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- A current North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
