This part-time opportunity involves performing home health visits for adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Calvert County. The ideal candidate will be available to see patients Monday-Friday between 8:30am-5:00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess and treat clients' physical therapy needs.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
