BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Shelburne, Vermont. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric clients in their homes throughout Chittenden County and surrounding areas.
Job Summary:
This is a per-visit position that requires assisting clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Our Physical Therapy Assistants work independently with minimal supervision and must be able to provide excellent care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric clients in their homes
- Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
