BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of clients.
The ideal candidate will have current licensure or certification in the state of NJ and at least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities include making outpatient visits to clients, implementing individualized care plans, educating clients and family members on rehabilitative care, and accurately documenting observations and interventions.
- Job Description: Assist Physical Therapists with patient care, perform manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
- Required Skills & Qualifications: Current licensure or certification in the state of NJ, graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
