Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to clients in their homes throughout Gloucester County. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care that promotes independence and improves quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home health visits to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities, to achieve client goals and improve functional ability.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification in the state of New Jersey.
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
