Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team in Union County, Somerset County, and/or Middlesex County. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with licensed physical therapists to help clients achieve optimal physical well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in achieving optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed physical therapist.
- Provide one-on-one care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes, promoting independence and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification in the state of NJ.
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified physical therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
