Physical Therapist Assistant Job

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in the Harrisburg Area.

About the Role

This part-time or per diem opportunity allows you to work independently, visiting clients in their homes and providing tailored physical therapy interventions. As a PTA, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to create personalized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in achieving optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, education, and interventions delegated by licensed Physical Therapists.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
