Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
About the Job:
This is a part-time opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in Montgomery County.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Two years of experience as a PTA with a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted by the U. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977).
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
