Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing comprehensive physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity with flexibility to meet your needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting physical therapy sessions
- Provide patient education on safe exercise techniques and proper body mechanics
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with BAYADA's policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
