The Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and physician's orders.
- Educate patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using state-of-the-art touch pad tablets.
Requirements
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
- Solid computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
