We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Mount Rainier, Maryland. As an SLP, you will be responsible for making home visits to clients, conducting thorough evaluations, and providing therapeutic interventions to address speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform evaluations to diagnose and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and revise treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using state-of-the-art touch pad tablets.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
