**Job Title:** Home Health Speech Language Pathologist
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health care team in Mount Rainier, Maryland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
- Develop and continually revise treatment plans based on evaluations, physician's orders, and recommended goals
- Document patient care management and services provided using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living
Requirements:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association (or equivalent education and work experience)
- Solid computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
