About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide home health visits in Furlong, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Educate patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document client information, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records.
Requirements:
- Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in PA.
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), or equivalent education and work experience.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with EMR systems preferred.
