Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and services provided using state-of-the-art technology.
Requirements:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
- Experience working in home health care or a related field preferred.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) an asset.
