POSITION TITLE:         MANAGER, ELECTRONIC VISIT VERIFICATION - Assistive Care State Programs

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Manager is responsible for a variety of daily tasks related to the managing and monitoring of Assistive Care State Program’s EVV compliance.  The EVV Manager will work closely with practice leadership, internal EVV, IT, and Compliance teams.  The EVV Manager will provide communication and training to employees regarding best practices for EVV utilization. The EVV Manager shares responsibility for EVV compliance risk mitigation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
  • Understand multiple state and contract Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with team and other stakeholder groups regarding EVV requirements and mandates as required.
  • Daily monitoring of EVV monitoring system, with regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Maintain compliance standards in accordance with HIPPA, state, and federal laws.
  • Review alert clearing notes for content to ensure quality assurance and compliance with all requirements. Identify when progress is not being made so coaching and training can be provided.
  • Conduct spot checks and service verification on all services.
  • Troubleshoot system errors with EVV system, communicate proper utilization to users as needed.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships and ensure integration of knowledge across key functional groups.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on EVV initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison and representative for ACSP interests to enterprise EVV/IT Leadership
  • Provide support in implementing improvements to processes to ensure ongoing efficiency across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability.
  • Four (4) year college degree.
  • Two (2) plus years of relevant experience
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in a time-sensitive role
  • Possesses problem solving ability, leadership skills, and can foster interpersonal relationships with employees, managers, directors, and senior leadership.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret meaningful results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple employee requests simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated record of goal achievement.
  • Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow past current position.
