- Evaluate patients' functional status, identifying areas of need and developing personalized intervention plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, as well as their living environments, to inform treatment decisions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies to promote safe and independent living.
Qualifications
- A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
