- Evaluate home environments for hazards and barriers to independent living, identifying equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
- Continually assess and revise care plans, collaborating with nursing in multidisciplinary care planning as needed.
As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Occupational Therapist, you'll work directly with clients, promoting their health, safety, and well-being in their own homes. Your expertise will help individuals regain confidence and independence, enabling them to live comfortably and safely at home.
Requirements
- Active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of PA.
- A minimum of one year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist, with previous home healthcare experience welcome but not required.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned, possessing a calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
