Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
- Assessing cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance and developing individualized intervention plans.
- Evaluating home environments for hazards or barriers to independent living.
- Identifying equipment needs and environmental adaptations to enhance patient outcomes.
- Continually assessing and revising occupational therapy care plans, participating in multidisciplinary care planning as needed.
In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment skills, strong written and verbal communication, and a calm and reassuring presence.
